If you are in 8th grad or higher and would like to become a soccer referee for the PVYSL Rec League please fill out this form.

All referees will be asked to study FIFA's Laws of the Game and pass a mandatory test. New referees will also be provided with field side training to help learn the ins and outs of being a referee. Here are some of the details you should know:

• Referees get paid 

• Games are typically Tuesday - Thursday 6pm and 7:30pm during the week as well as Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. 

• Games are assigned to referee given their schedule availability. Refs should be available at least 2 days per week. 

• A mandatory referee meeting will be held in the evening during one of the first days of school to kick things off

• New referees must pass a ref test

• PVYSL provides all the ref gear needed (uniform, whistle, etc...) for a fee $25
